W.I.P

Yet to be finished illos of a dancer. The initial lineart can be seen over on the Onion-y Livejournal!(just scroll down a few posts) I wanted her to be redhead and thought a an aqua blue/green would contrast with her hair so beautifully, and when I finished up the dress, something is disturbingly familiar but I can't put a finger to it.

Then it hits me. This is what Ariel of the Little Mermaid would look like if that green fish body of hers is a green dress instead of a..a fish body!

So here it is, a somewhat accidental fanart of Ariel (or maybe not, since her bangs and face isn't the same AT ALL) or maybe I should just change the colour of her hair and dress. (But I love that sea-green shade!!! AGH)

Ok!

Finished this while watching episodes of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on DVD. Background is not complete...I'm not sure what to put, except maybe draw other characters with 'normal' pets looking at them. If I'm not too lazy that is. GAH. I haven't drawn a full background in... wait a min, I don't think I've ever drawn a full background EVER!

Hm. Hungry. Just ate fries, now I feel like some sausages!

...which will probably stay that way because I've decided not to finish it. Half through I thought the painterly style doesn't really suit the drawing. Will probably rework it cell style or something.

The nicest thing about weekends is having the luxury of just lolling around and not do anything. The not so nice aspect? Having to always think what to have for lunch. Or dinner.

Yeap more office sketch. It's when my mind wanders when I work (which often happens) all these silly doodles started appearing. Anyhoo, this girl has more than two arms, yes. I couldn't decide which pose is better.

A colleague brought Chrono Cross character guide book, and I was reminded how awesome the game was. Still is. Too bad I can't draw as awesomely as Nobuteru Yuuki. Harle there has so many limbs (yes, I was indecisive about the pose) that she looks like the Goddess Kali instead.

Kid has missing feet because I failed to draw within the paper itself! AGH

Yes, Office sketch again

Our director came in today, but so did the scriptwriters and they ended up having a long meeting which took the whole day.
So my work are being held back till tomorrow, and I was able to sketch this between storyboard thumbnails...
It's one of a crazy witch and a... random jumping girl. Bad anatomies afoot!

I'm wishing that my doodles actually have a certain theme, or topics and subjects instead of random bit and bobs of nothing. But then again doodles are supposed to be random bit and bobs and nothing, and that's all my brains are able to churn out last Friday at work.

I am so sleepy now

Someone back in uni came up with this phrase: I'm too lazy to sleep.
I remember going - what the heck how can you be too lazy to sleep? That doesn't make sense.
But now it kinda does - I'm sleepy but I'm too tired to drag myself upstairs so that makes me lazy I guess.
You can tell I'm real sleepy when I start rambling like this. Night u all.

Ok another random landscape that was done because I was bored and started splotching colours in Photoshop. Bits and pieces and crap were added without paying attention to issues like perspective and whatnots and pretty soon this picture happened.

I better be drawing something exciting soon. Like angry vegetables.

Something Old

I did this prior to the visit to SDCC 'o6 in the middle of this year. It started out as a sketch - real crappy with skewed eyes and whatnots hahaha. Scanned and cleaned up digitally (sorry, I can't find the cleaned up lineart, and at this point can't be arsed to find it >.<) and finally coloured and abused with much Photoshop brushes. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I like drawing Santarinas (ever since an ex-collegue mistook some cross-dressing j-rockers as one HAHAHAHA). I like drawing smexy girls. And now it's Christmas. So this is my Christmas hooch of the year. (actually done for a current colleague who wanted something naughty..but I couldn't really pull anything very naughty, or at least naughty in a witty way. I suck. Well, next time!)

Blue?

Ahahaha, y'know I'm really not sure what this is. Just that random shapes drawn in Photoshop just sort of led to another and the next thing I know, there's this cluster of ice thingamajiggy and an really lame alien drawn in just so there's a subject in the picture.

It was real fun playing with lots of blues and torquoise though!

Something colourful

I was bored and there's nothing to do at work (there was but it's so terribly mundane). So this came out instead. I should be bored at work more often. Well, more than usual, anyway.

Yello

Was away to the nation's capital for a few days for 2 different conventions and to catch up with some real good friends!
The first was Comic Fiesta and second one is a Science & Fantasy something or other that had an adorable Eragon cosplayer and rather cute Predator (it had a hu-u-uge head) and a dude dressed up as Chicken Little that you want to push over.

This drawing was included in a little compilation that my friends and I did for the convention. Methinks her eyes are a bit too far apart.

..so this is not new. I did this last week.
