I just got a fab new wing chair. Not as big as this one, but close. It will be a good place to cuddle in with a good book on a quiet night.

Friday afternoon sketch! I can't wait for weekend tomorrow - for my friends and I will have a board game/video game party! We will play Smash Bros. on the Wii and scream our lungs out...

About the sketch - it is inspired by an outfit I think I saw Sarah Brightman put on in one of her live performances. Except hers have leaves stuck all over her dress. I think. At any rate, she's such a crazy, dramatic bat. But interesting, nevertheless.

Kitty In a Jacket

Oh My God! I wish I can come up with something good and funny and sassy spontaneously but at the end of the day this is all I can muster, and frankly I don't like it so much. Looks too posed and forced, no? I need a hawt Christian Bale movie. Christian Bale solves everything.

Finally an update!!

Work work and work really caught up, y'all. AAA. Anyway... these are 60 Marvel Masterpieces III sketch cards that I've been working on for the past month in between/ after day job.And now it's done, it's all DONE! And approved by Marvel! Yay. Enjoy the marker and character butchery.

Elphaba

I am hopelessly obsessed with rendition of Wicked Witch of the West from the Broadway play 'Wicked'. Her character is everything I admire and hope to be - strong, fearless, determined, misunderstood (okay maybe not that last part).

The part of Elphaba (the witch) was played by Lisa Brescia (standby for Stephanie J. Block) when I saw it, and she was really amazing. Her voice was beautiful and clear, and she played the part with a subtle sensitivity and humility - I think I cried a little hahahah.

Didn't update for quite sometime now because I was away on a trip! New York is a beautiful city, even more so when you have a good friend to show you around .

This is a fan art of Snow White, Rose Red, Briar Rose and Cinderella from Fables. And oh, Bigby Wolf's there too. Except that I made him look too pet doggy friendly rather than a GARRRRR giant wolf. The flowery border around him is not helping either. Must draw more GARRR wolves. GAR.
