BA-BOOMPH

Morrigan, cuz everyone seems to be drawing Morrigan these days and I'm jumping on the wagon.

INTRO: The Overworked Designer

Every day, every weekend, every hour of the day. The chores are endless. There's no time for sleep, rest or love, Dr Jones! When will he ever get his break?

INTRO: The Protagonist and Chicken

Odd Sarah being spied by a dubious chicken as she walks back from the workplace she detests.

In case you're wondering, Odd Sarah is a whacked out story I've been developing since forever (make that, thought into conception eons ago, and sort of forgot about it despite always doodling Odd Sarah-esque non sequiteurs. Is this how you spell that last word?) Will post the very first drawing of Odd Sarah up here soon, and hopefully it will all make sense.

AWK!

I thought I can do another Odd Sarah drawing today but no such luck! Lots of things with dire deadlines coming up so those were first priority.

Have a busy bird instead!

INTRO: The Lady

A young working professional hooked on expensive coffee and doughnuts (though it's not apparent here). What role will she play in Odd Sarah's life?

Happy New Year!

3 days late... but eh. I usher in this lonely art blog into the new year with a lame sketch. Will probably clean it up all nice and proper soon!

Slouch

I just got a fab new wing chair. Not as big as this one, but close. It will be a good place to cuddle in with a good book on a quiet night.

YONGUMIX STRIKES AGAIN!!!!

Did this cover for the 4th incarnation of YonGumix!! Head over to YGX blog for details!!!! (link on sidebar!!!!!)

Weekend Plans

...and the failure to follow through XD

Forest Nymph

Friday afternoon sketch! I can't wait for weekend tomorrow - for my friends and I will have a board game/video game party! We will play Smash Bros. on the Wii and scream our lungs out...

About the sketch - it is inspired by an outfit I think I saw Sarah Brightman put on in one of her live performances. Except hers have leaves stuck all over her dress. I think. At any rate, she's such a crazy, dramatic bat. But interesting, nevertheless.

Kitty In a Jacket

Oh My God! I wish I can come up with something good and funny and sassy spontaneously but at the end of the day this is all I can muster, and frankly I don't like it so much. Looks too posed and forced, no? I need a hawt Christian Bale movie. Christian Bale solves everything.

Bwah

I look terrible when I yawn. Tsk.

More quickies

Plaid, dots and stripes!

WHEE!

WEEKENDDDDDDDDDDDD

GAH

I am so lazy and uninspired and my face itches. Kitty fur? Anyway, quick stress relief art. Also, an excuse for lame vector-esque art with brush abuse and loads of texture. Face taken from here, and texture from here, and brushes from Angryblue. Or was it Magurno? Both have great brushes. I thank ye all.

Finally an update!!

Work work and work really caught up, y'all. AAA. Anyway... these are 60 Marvel Masterpieces III sketch cards that I've been working on for the past month in between/ after day job.And now it's done, it's all DONE! And approved by Marvel! Yay. Enjoy the marker and character butchery.

Some new sketchcards!

Commission, and two made for fun/ practice cards. I finally get to draw Wonder Woman, woo-hoo!

Pointy Ears

Random pointy eared elfy person just for marker and inking practice. Man, I'm just so uninspired this month....

Back of card

Design to be printed on sketchcards.

Some Comic Ladies

Sketch cards of Rogue (I like the Chris Bachalo costume), Black Cat and White Queen. How on earth do Emma Frost keep her boobs up?? A mystery to ponder on indeed...

Mushroom and Flowers

I was bored and wanted an excuse to abuse my marker

LATE

Repeat to self: If it's a weekday and you're working the next day GO TO SLEEP INSTEAD OF STAYING UP AT UNGODLY HOURS TO FINISH SOMETHING YOU CAN'T EVEN THINK UP A TITLE FOR

but it's fun. It hurts (later at work! Argh!) but it's fun.

Elphaba

I am hopelessly obsessed with rendition of Wicked Witch of the West from the Broadway play 'Wicked'. Her character is everything I admire and hope to be - strong, fearless, determined, misunderstood (okay maybe not that last part).

The part of Elphaba (the witch) was played by Lisa Brescia (standby for Stephanie J. Block) when I saw it, and she was really amazing. Her voice was beautiful and clear, and she played the part with a subtle sensitivity and humility - I think I cried a little hahahah.

Rendered in markers and brush pen.

Fables

Didn't update for quite sometime now because I was away on a trip! New York is a beautiful city, even more so when you have a good friend to show you around .

This is a fan art of Snow White, Rose Red, Briar Rose and Cinderella from Fables. And oh, Bigby Wolf's there too. Except that I made him look too pet doggy friendly rather than a GARRRRR giant wolf. The flowery border around him is not helping either. Must draw more GARRR wolves. GAR.

Lazy Month

Man! I've been so lazy this month, haven't I? Hardly did any artworks worthy of mention, so I made a resolution to draw at lest one sketchcard daily since I don't get to draw much at work anymore.

These are the some of the ones I did recently, fanarts of Crisis Core (which I am loving muchly at the moment) and Gurren Lagann (which I'm also still loving muchly)

More sketchcards can be see at my Deviantart! (links on the right)

Waiting

....naked in uh... the foliage. A Dryad frolicking in the Forest? A Deranged Streaker waiting in the park? A Crazy Tree Hugger? You decide.

Prickly Passion

My colleague commented it looks like something drawn on a paper bag XD

An attempt to sketch after a loooooong time of not drawing anything. THIS DRAWING SUCKS!!! Ah wellz. I'm now been placed in animatics editing instead of storyboard (director and admin said they are trying me out for it temporarily and see if I can do it) so let's see how it goes! I kinda miss my drawing area in the office though ;__;

This'll be over soon
