After Work Sketch II

Some Commissioned Art

The usual comic characters aaaand.. Cleopatra! That was quite interesting...

After Work Sketch

Having gorged on some utterly divine Tunisian sweets (layers of filo-like pastry encasing chopped pistachios and lightly touched with honey) I went on a sugar high and polished off a normally plodding mundane task in no time, and after that promptly crashed on sugar low, forcing me to take a 5 min nap, face down on my jacket. This sketch is done right after that.

ARGH

I was working on an artwork for 2 hours and suddenly the pc crashed just as I was about to save. Resetted pc and opened said file to find work way behind the progress I had made.

My feelings? HULK SMASHHHH!!!!

YARGH

I woke up Sunday morning and my eye is red and swollen and itchy. FUN!

Bleeeh

I'm bored. Heeeeee :P

PHONE LOVE

Phone dates are fun.. I think :)

Oh My

An update?? I must not be feeling like myself these days. Which is lazy 99.9% of any given time. The colours are all off in this and Mr Octopus could use more work I think. Ah well. An update's an update even if it's a half arsed one T__T

(I'll put up more proper work next time ..uuu.. Just need to finish off work and also get off my lazy bum!)

Hm

I drew this because Mel asked me to. Why, you ask? I don't know either. Why Mel why?

Octogirl again!

I used this image for my name card :) Won't it be cool to have that many arms?

Am in LA now, will not be updating till I get back..which should be in about a weeks' time! I miss my cat..

We were outside the hall for Venture Bros. since 5.30 pm and we can't get in! Too many ppl :( Crud cruddy crud.

On a brighter note, I met the amazing Scott Campbell! Super awesome and I am a happy fangirl.

Am contemplating beating up ppl who got the bathroom passes from the panel hmm...

Uhm

I don't know why I find cowpats funny. Cowpats on a stick, even more so.

...I think my mind broke a little today.

Well

....I was really bored T___T

Commissioned Sketchcards

Been busy with these babies in the past weeks (and for the weeks to come I think). My markers are abused royally and they love it!

Manga Shakespeare Entry

Last year I was forced coerced got my arm pulled asked by my friends to join the Manga Shakespeare competition organized by British Council Malaysia. Basically what we had to do was draw an excerpt from Shakespeare's works of our choice (there was a list to choose fromm and I chose Midsummer's Night Dream, Bottom's transformation sequence) in manga style. Manga styleeeee...

Anyways, thanks to my epic procrastination-fu, I did this all in one night before the deadline, and the art sucks so serves me right >.< But I also somehow managed to get an honourable mention for this entry, so that was cool :)

Read from top to bottom! Thanks.

Those pesky kids

This for the 'draw yourself as a 100 year old' contest by Phil McAndrew. Hopefully by then I am still sprightly and youthful in spirit enough to still be wearing hoodies and yelling at kids (er, I don't actually yell at kids. But hopefully that'll improve with age. Especially when it comes to super annoying kids). There's dentures all over the ground because each time I yell, one'll pop out of my mouth, and because I have less than stellar eyessight but too proud to admit it, I can't find the dentures on the ground and will go off to make a new one.

Makeover? Sorta

..cuz I'm just lame at html and all I did was shuffle around the templates hehe. I was tired at the old look!

Also.. presenting YGX: Meow debuting in SDCC '09! Drawn by Eisu featuring adorably cute cats set to conquer the world.

UPDATEEEEEE

Sorry guys for not posting for so long. I've been really busy preparing some stuff to add to the YonGumiX: Meow compilation which is going to sold at San Diego Comicon 2009. The above strip is one of 11 I did for book. Will post the cover soon, if permitted! XD

Also, thanks to everyone who posted and still follow this dinky blog XD I will reply to your posts soon! (after I find myself a maid-robot).

Hmm

Hmmm. If I print these T-shirts out, would anyone buy them I wonder?

(the language printed on the T-shirt is Malay for 'Be lazy like me')

Some

No time to draw leisurely recently! This lame sketch is done between work in the office.. I don't know when I can finish it though...

Back from Singapore!

I was in Singapore for the weekend with a bunch of good friends to attend Final Fantasy: Distant World concert - which was AWESOME because Nobuo Uematsu was in attendance. He joined the chorus group for the 2nd encore and moved to the beat and clapped his slippers and won hearts all around the concert hall.

That aside trip makes me realize how unfit I am. We walked everywhere and on Monday my body was aching all over. But I'm still not hitting the gym. Cuz I'm allergic to gymmmmmsssss!!!! HISSSSSS SNARL YOWL

Sunday Alert!

Adventures of Mr Oniyon updated!!!

Mr Oniyon finds himself in a rather interesting place.

Spock Prime

"I have been and shall always be your friend."

Great salute to Wrath of Khan there. Sob.

And if you guys haven't read the Star Trek: Countdown comic yet, go read it NOW!

Some ol' sketches

Just some stuff from the sketchbook that I haven't been putting up

4th and 5th sketches are from KL Design Week forum - I find that doodling helps me listen and remember better. If I don't have a pen/ paper with me during long talks or conferences, I'd fall asleep. I told you I'm narcoleptic.

Harvey James Meme

Where is my catgirl? O___O

Oh wait there it is

This is a super fun meme started by harveyjames on LJ. Look at all those cats wearing hats!! Awww. I kinda found out about it late (on the deadline day itself!) and rushed to do one cuz I don't want to miss out on it!

So I made the cut! See all other amazing cat wearing hats depicted as girls wearing catty hats here. You probably need to scroll down a bit to catch mine among all those hundreds of amazing drawings :)

P/S I think Blogger hates me. It takes ages to put up this post due to inexplicable problems!

Starfish

I'm too tired to write anything here. Except that painting is hard ugh

P/S - The new Star Trek movie is still damn good

Nami Character Redesign

Nami (One Piece) character redesign for Pergh forum battle.

Oh and man the new Star Trek movie rocks damn hard!

Twe - URK

I'm totally jumping on the bandwagon >.<

Happy Labour Day

I have a day off today and was supposed to do work, but am too de-motivated to finish it. So I drew a bloody thorn head girl instead. Hmmm..

Adventures of Mr Oniyon is updated! Do take a look, peeps!
